Gomati or Gomti chakra pendant.
Origin of Gomati chakra stones.
Gomati chakra stones owe their name to the place where they originally were found: the Gomati river in India. It is a white coloured stone with small circles, swirling like a chakra. They are considered to be a symbol of the Hindu goddess Lakshmi. Gomati Chakra is also said to resemble the Sudarshan Chakra, the disc that Lord Krishna holds in his hand. According to many Vaishnavas and oral tradition in Northern India, Gomati stones were once part of Lord Krishna’s palaces in Dwarka (India). They were used to adorn the walls and floor of many of Sri Krishna’s palaces.
